My experience in production is drawn from my past work as a production assistant, videographer, and field producer from 2005 to the present. I maintain a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and perform in a variety of production environments, and the capacity to maintain focus and diligence in highly-demanding situations.
As a production assistant, I developed a solid mindset and understanding for the production process, and suitably applied these skills to aid in reaching the goal of creating a successful final product. Through hard work and dedication I progressed to become a creative and experienced videographer. I have shot over 250 professional sporting events (e.g. NBA, MLB, AHL, AFL, NCAA), and have shot and produced over 500 college lectures for Case Western Reserve University, which were used for online streaming access for students. This has provided me with the ability to efficiently perform in fast-paced, unpredictable environments, and the knowledge of what it takes to play a key role in a high-quality production.
As my experience grew, so did my level of responsibility. I became a field producer for the Cleveland Indians production department. Covering the span of the 2008 season (81 home games), I successfully coordinated and executed over 600 live hits including hosted promos, contests, and fan giveaways. Through working along with the director, hosts, camera ops, fans, and other on-camera talent, I have gained a strong sense of organization and leadership, successfully created a cohesive team atmosphere, and demonstrated my ability to problem-solve and excel in areas of heightened responsibility.
My experiences have provided me with many different abilities that are all crucial elements to a successful production. I am highly motivated and possess a well-tested passion for the industry.
